PLEASE RESPECT SOCIAL DISTANCING AT THE RESORT. When on the golf course or in the clubhouse to pick up take out or for any other reason, please respect physical distancing guidelines and keep 2m (approx 6 ft) between you and other people. Thank you.

Masks are mandatory for all team members in public areas, and masks are recommended for our guests.

COVID Protocol Changes October 30th 2020

Dr. Bonnie Henry has released a new Order, with some changes to how restaurants and events operate. Due to the changes in this order, Crown Isle has also made changes to our COVID protocols. We have set these protocols to ensure the safety of our members, guests, community and team members. It is extremely important for all of our patrons, members included, to follow these protocols and please respect the direction of our team members regarding these protocols.

HOTEL & CLUBHOUSE

The maximum number of people in a Villa can not exceed 6.

•   Villa Rooms Leadership team completed a training course through the American Hotel and Lodge “Stay-Safe COVID-19 Precautions”  “Safe Stay” is AHLA’s initiative focused on enhanced hotel cleaning practices, social interactions, and workplace protocols to meet the new health and safety challenges and expectations presented by COVID-19. Safe Stay was created in accordance with guidance issued by public health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). https://www.ahla.com/safestay
•   Plastic shields at the pro shop and hotel front desk
•   We have added extra pin pads for payments 6 feet away from the counter, plus sanitizer stations at all pin pad locations
• Checking into the Hotel – We will gather more information at the time of booking to significantly reduce the time spent at check in.
• Your Room – We strive to provide you a room that is as clean as possible by:
> Using an Electrostatic Sprayer to dispense Health Canada approved disinfectant on all touchable surfaces and floors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rmp9v1rx4wc
> Bed linens, including the duvet; duvet covering; pillows; pillow covers and sheets are  replaced after every visit
> Fresh towels supplied for the entire visit
> Vacuuming and dusting are maintained as we have always done
• During your visit – For your safety and the safety of our Housekeeping staff we will not provide daily in-room housekeeping. If you are staying several days, we will drop off supplies as you need them.

BEFORE YOU GOLF + PRO SHOP

• The golf course is open for play to the public. Practice greens are open – please maintain social distancing.
•    Social members are encouraged to charge their green fee to their account to limit contact with Pro Shop staff
•    Power cart and pull cart rentals are available and will be sanitized by staff members before and after every use
•    Plastic shields at the pro shop and hotel front desk
•    We have added extra pin pads for payments 6 feet away from the counter, plus sanitizer stations at all pin pad locations
•    Score cards and pencils are outside the proshop with hand sanitizer station
•    Tee times can be booked online or by calling 250-703-5029
•    Memberships can still be purchased online or in the Pro Shop during opening hours
•    All on course washrooms will receive additional cleaning on an increased schedule
•    Pro Shop doors will be wiped down regularly by staff
•    Starter to have regular updates of golfers checking in at 1st or 10th tee

ON THE GOLF COURSE

•    Please respect physical distancing. Marshals are on the front nine and back nine monitoring social distancing
•  Our club storage service is temporarily closed. If you require your clubs and they are in storage, you can take them out of storage for play and then take them home.
•    If you are a member or guest who does not need to pay any fees or pay for any merchandise, please bypass the golf shop. They can check in through email or with the starter.
•    Please leave the flag in
•    On course ball wash stations and rakes have been removed at this time

TIMBER ROOM, TAKE OUT & SANDWEDGE

Timber Room, Atrium and all conference rooms
• Please wait to be seated by our hostess
• Please follow traffic pattern arrows on the floor of the Clubhouse
• Once you have been seated at a table you are not permitted to move from table to table.
• The patrons at your table must remain there throughout your seating.
• You cannot join a table that has already been seated unless you are part of the reservation or original seating numbers.
• No more than 6 people to a table
• All tables must be 6 feet away from each other
• The option of standing patrons has been eliminated i.e. all patrons must be seated
• There is no liquor self-serve allowed

Sandwedge – now closed for the season
• Once you have been seated at a table you are not permitted to move from table to table.
• The patrons at your table must remain there throughout your seating.
• You cannot join a table that has already been seated unless you are part of the reservation or original seating numbers.
• No more than 4 people to a table
• All tables must be 6 feet away from each other
• The option of standing patrons has been eliminated i.e. all patrons must be seated
• There is no liquor self-serve allowed

• Take Out Menu available for pick up or for in-room dining daily during Timber Room open hours
•    Debit terminal cleaned after each use
•    No more than 6 guests to a table at one time. The next table must be 6 feet away
•    Of each group, one party must provide up to date contact details for further contact if necessary, this information will not be shared and be destroyed after 30 days
•    Guests are NOT allowed to seat themselves and must wait to be seated to ensure the tables are correctly set, cleaned and sanitized after each use.
•    Guests cannot move tables and chairs around to preferred seating arrangements. The table and chairs have been laid out in a specific setting for measurement requirements and to help allow traffic flow and follow the Social Distancing measures.
•    Guests will be asked to sanitize their hands at our Sanitizer station before entering the restaurant / patio.
•    Tables will be preset for service with glassware, utensils etc but 1 menu and limited customer points of contact will be allowed on tables or handed out. Our menu is also available online.
•    Servers will place food and drinks down in the preferred table area of contact if a clear reaching point cannot be accessed and guests will be kindly asked to allocate the items.
•    Cash will be accepted at the discretion of the server.  Preferred methods of payments are debit / credit or member charges.
•    Staff and guests will be asked to vacate the premises if any symptoms of Covid-19 are clearly displayed.
•    Employees of the Timber room will be continuing to be coached and trained on the best protocols as per Work BC and be asked to sign agreements to adhere to such policies.

FITNESS CENTRE

• The Fitness Centre is open 7:00am – 8:00pm.
• You must book an hour appointment; you can book your appointment by calling 250-703-5000 extension 1.
• There will be a limit of 5 people in the fitness centre at a time to ensure social distancing is possible.
• Drop ins are available but only if there is availability.
• You must bring your own towel
• Please use one of the spray bottles provided by the sink in the fitness center to spray down the equipment after use and paper towel to wipe down.
• At this time the showers will remain closed.
• After each hour appointment there will be a 15-minute reset time to allow cleaners to clean the equipment.
• Cleaners will use Electrostatic Sprayer to dispense Health Canada approved disinfectant on all touchable surfaces and floors.
• Ensure Physical distancing at all times.
• Ensure you wash your hands frequently.
