Intermediate Members also receive preferred pricing & charging privileges throughout the Resort and second option on all additional golf services. Intermediate Members Guests enjoy our preferred guest rates and your tee times are assured with advanced booking privileges and access to member priority times. In response to declining numbers of junior participants in golf over the last 6 years, the Crown Isle Golf Resort has re-designed its Junior Membership around a series of bold developmental programs in 2008. These programs aim to showcase the game of golf to children through energetic and fun learning experiences conducted by talented and experienced CPGA certified instructors from the Crown Isle Golf Academy. There are three Tiers of Junior Membership for 2008. To pass from one tier to another requires successful completion of the Developmental Programs (listed below).

Tier One - Active Start

• Membership Fee of $100
• Includes 8 week Lesson Program
• Includes Play on Junior nights
• Clubs can be provided by the Resort ($50 fee)
• Use of Practice Facilities (restrictions apply*)
• Golf Course use when accompanied by adult

Developmental / Certification Program
Level 1 - Active Start Program
Level 2 - FUNdamentals Program
Level 3 - Learn To Play Program

Tier Two - Intermediate Junior

• Must pass "Level 3 - Learn To Play" Program
• Membership Fee of $350
• Includes 8 week Lesson Program

Developmental / Certification Programs: All of our Junior Members programs feature education in the following areas; Technical Skills, Fitness & Health, Golf Knowledge, Playing & Competition, Mind Matters, Values and Parent's Role.

Lesson Program: Juniors will be broken up into groups according to the Level of Program they are undertaking. The Lesson Program begins on Monday, April 7th at 6pm, and continues for 8 weeks.

Junior Nights: Junior Nights begin the week after the Lesson Program. The first night is on Monday June 2nd at 6pm. Junior Nights continue on a weekly basis with the last session being held Monday August 25th.

Registration: Registration is held on Saturday March 22nd between 1pm and 2pm at the Crown Isle Golf Resort. At 2pm, parents will be invited to attend a short seminar hosted by Crown Isle´s Director of Instruction, Robert Ratcliffe, to present an overview of the Developmental / Certification Program.
