  • Line Cook

    Crown Isle Golf Resort looking for an experienced line cook. Minimum 3 years experience in a high volume, fast paced kitchen. Banquet experience is an asset. Must be able to work breakfast shifts. Leadership qualities, pride in work, and professional demeanor are characteristics for this job. Hourly wage based on experience level.     • Banquet Server

      Part Time Banquet Server Catering or restaurant experience is an asset. Shifts are primarily evenings, mostly on weekends. Must have ability to function in a team setting as well as work on own. Personal pride in dealing with high service standards and emphasis on customer service are prerequisites.     • Assistant Golf Professional

      Facility Description: Crown Isle Resort is an 18 hole Graham Cooke designed championship course with a 48,000 Sq/Ft clubhouse, restaurant and on site accommodations. We have a very active membership in addition to resort guests, tournament and local play.

      Crown Isle Resort is located in the beautiful Comox Valley town of Courtenay, BC on Vancouver Island. The Comox Valley is an outdoor paradise, offering golf, skiing, hiking, fishing and many other outdoor activities.

      Job Description: Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community is currently accepting resumes for a full-time seasonal Assistant Golf Professional. We are seeking individuals who are focused on providing the highest level of customer service and being very detail oriented. He or She will be involved in all aspects of the total golf operation. This will include, but not limited to, answering phones, booking tee times, checking in members and guests, merchandising, tournament operations, providing professional golf instruction, enforcing policies and assisting the Director of Golf with all other areas of daily operations.

      Experience Required: Qualified individuals must have positive, enthusiastic personalities, with excellent customer service skills. They must have the ability to carry themselves professionally and desire to achieve long-term success in the golf business. The individual shall have the ability to create five-star presentation in all areas of responsibility, and an outstanding attention to detail.

      Salary: $13.00 per hour
      Employee Meal Discounts
      Usage of golf course and practice facility
      Lesson revenue commissions (70%)
